Sweet "Pistachio Affogato"


Al Ameed Coffee always seeks to innovate new recipes that distinguish its journey in coffee making. It consistently works on developing its café beverages department to maintain the quality it has built over the past 50 years.


Simply put, this sweet is a combination of vanilla ice cream and coffee, consumed traditionally in Italy under the name Affogato, using a spoon. Today, we've decided to present to you this traditional
sweet with an Arabian touch.



To prepare the Arabian Affogato:


  1. Add two slices of Arabian ice cream distinguished by the flavor of mastika!
  2. Place one espresso disc from Ben Al-Amid on top of the ice cream directly.

Iced Coffee Cake


Ingredients:


  1. Whipped cream powder: 2 packs
  2. Full-fat milk: 1 cup
  3. Whipped cream: 2 small cans
  4. Sweetened condensed milk: ¾ can
  5. Tea biscuits: 2 packs of biscuits
  6. Espresso shots: 3 shots
  7. Espresso powder: 1 tablespoon


Preparing Espresso:


  1. Prepare 3 shots of espresso using the machine with espresso pods
  2. Pour the espresso into a bowl

Preparing the Cream:


  1. Mix two packs of whipped cream powder with a cup of cold milk until the mixture becomes thick
  2. Stir the mixture until well combined

Assembling the Cake:

  1. Prepare a tray and put a small amount of the cream on the base
  2. Dip the tea biscuits in the espresso, one piece at a time, and then form an organized layer of soaked biscuits
  3. Put half a cup of the cream mixture on top of the biscuit layer and spread it to cover each layer of biscuit
  4. Form the second layer of biscuits (following the same process as step 2)
  5. Add another half cup of the cream mixture
  6. Repeat these steps until you run out of the cream, forming all the layers
  7. Decorate the cake's surface with the remaining half cup of cream and add crushed biscuits for decoration
  8. Cover the cake and place it in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours
